I will admit it. Time and time again, I have accused Boston of lacking cool restaurants. However, it seems that Boston has proved me wrong and I owe this beautiful city an apology. Throughout the city, new culinary hotspots have been popping up every which way. This brings me to introduce to you to Hojoko, O Ya’s more casual and probably more accessible lovechild.

Located in Boston’s trendy Verb Hotel, this restaurant is perfect for dinner with friends on a weekend. Authentic Harajuku decorations, a delicious spin on Japanese cuisine and funky cocktails. What more could a girl ask for? The staff are all super enthusiastic and passionate about the restaurant, which if you ask me, is something that’s hard to come by. However, their one downfall is the fact that they don’t take reservations. My party of 5 was told to expect an hour and forty five minute wait…
